Muscovite(white mica)
Because of high insulation strength, acid-base corrodibility resistance, elasticity, tenacity, heat-resistance, sound insulation, and strong adhesive force, muscovite can be used in many industries such as electric insulation, heat insulation, paint, plastic, rubber, ceramic, petroleum, drilling, electric welding rod, cosmetic and space navigation.
Phlogopite (golden mica)
Phlogopite can be divided into two types: fuscous phlogopite (all types of brown and green) and light colored phlogopite (all types of light yellow). Light colored phlogopite is transparent and has vitreous luster, fuscous phlogopite is semitransparent, vitreous luster to metallic luster. Pure phlogopite is very good insulation material.
Biotite
Biotite is black, fuscous brown, and sometimes with a little light red, green, or other tint. Transparent to semitransparent, ?with vitreous luster or metallic luster. Hardness: 2-3, density: 3.02-3.12g/cm3, they are usually used in construction padding.
